About the Supply Chain

The Supply Chain simulator runs a small business from the order to the payment. A customer order arrives, stock is checked, a purchase order or stock transfer is raised, goods are received and put away in the warehouse, picked and packed, shipped with a carrier you choose, and finally invoiced and paid.

Each stage works like a simplified version of the systems real companies use: order entry, warehouse operations, a transportation management system and finance. Every action is written to an event ledger, and an analytics dashboard tracks completed cycles, shipping cost and net profit and loss, so you can see how one decision, such as choosing a faster carrier, shows up in the accounts.

It suits commerce, management and operations students, and anyone starting a job that uses ERP or warehouse software and wants to see how the pieces connect. A sandbox lets you experiment freely. You can try it without an account; sign in to save your progress.
