Funding, launches and the young companies, mostly Indian, building new technology.
New companies are where much of the technology on this site first appears, usually before anyone has decided whether it works. This page follows them, with an emphasis on Indian startups: funding rounds and what they say about where the money thinks the field is going, launches and the products behind them, acquisitions, and the occasional failure, which is often more instructive. We cover the technology rather than the valuation, and are more interested in what a company has built than in what it has announced.
Indian brands can now buy advertising space inside ChatGPT conversations, with Razorpay handling the catalogues, the campaigns and the reporting.
As per Entrackr's weekly funding report of 3 October 2026, Indian startups raised $411.46 million this week, double the week before. Electric two-wheeler maker Simple Energy grabbed $182 million in a Series C round, followed by physical-AI chip company SiMa.ai with $150 million. Among cities, Bengaluru led with 13 deals.
